Creating a Multi-Functional Outdoor Living Space
The Backyard Entertainer’s Haven transformed a small, elevated deck into a stunning multi-functional outdoor living space. The renovation project began with the demolition of the original deck, paving the way for an expansive 20'x20' covered porch with storage beneath and a 22'x37' open deck designed to host a hot tub.
The centerpiece of the covered porch is a fully screened-in patio area, featuring motorized screens that keep pests out while allowing the homeowners to enjoy the outdoors in comfort. Constructed with sturdy LVL lumber, the space includes a custom stone fireplace with a gas insert and electrical setup for a television.
This porch is a haven for entertaining, complete with a fully equipped cooking area that includes a grill, refrigerator, sink with beer taps, and an exhaust system to minimize smoke. A bar-height table was custom-built for dining, providing a perfect gathering spot.
The open deck extends from the porch, offering ample space for the family’s hot tub and an uninterrupted view of the picturesque backyard.
