Open-Concept Living: A Home Makeover Story

The Main Floor Transformation redefined the functionality and style of this home. By removing the wall between the living room and the kitchen/dining area, we created a bright, open-concept space that is perfect for both everyday living and entertaining. The fireplace in the living room was relocated from the center of the wall to the corner, optimizing the layout and making better use of the space.

In the kitchen, a peninsula was replaced with a spacious island, offering additional seating and improved workflow. Two-toned cabinets— SW White Dove on top and SW Bunglehouse Blue on the bottom—paired with high-end quartz countertops give the kitchen a fresh, modern appeal. The island and counters feature two distinct quartz designs, adding subtle character to the space.

Additional updates included expanding into the garage to create a mudroom/pantry area. A new laundry room was added, as the original laundry space was incorporated into a larger office area by removing a dividing wall.

New hardwood flooring was installed throughout the main floor, and all remodeled areas were freshly painted. Mechanical upgrades included connections for a future whole-home generator and the addition of a whole-home humidifier to the HVAC system.
